Into Ensemble is an improvisation workshop for curious humans who like to move.

We will explore practices for listening deeply to the experience of our own sensing bodies as the basis for developing relational awareness in our dancing together. Our practice will draw from and include skill building in Contact Improvisation, Authentic Movement, scores for group improvisation and compositional awareness, as well as inviting participants to explore and expand their personal movement habits and pathways of expression.

All levels welcome! No previous experience in dance or improvisation required.

*Into Ensemble will offer an introduction to Hallie’s ensemble performance work: Collective Mo(ve)ment, and serve as a potential onramp to participating in the next round of that project. Interest in the project is not a pre-requisite for participation in the workshop.
